when will NASCAR keep the start and park teams from competeing?

NASCAR wants every race to be competitive, but how can that be when 3 or 4 teams dont even attempt to race.

Get out your checkbook and send some money to those teams so they can afford to race more than a few laps.

it’s expensive to race but doing a few laps is better not 0. all NASCAR says is as long as you can qualify for the race they have no say in how long you race. over time a small team can go from a “start and park” to one that can run the whole race then eventually over time get a little bigger if they’re able to. if you were an owner of one of the “start and park” you’d rather race a few than 0 laps.

i bet if they did start to jump in and say you can’t even try to qualify unless you can run the whole race then there will still be people complaining about NASCAR being to bossy and that they shouldn’t tell the teams what to do so either way some people will always try finding something to b*tch about

NASCAR has no intention of deterring start and parkers. In fact, NASCAR encourages them by making poor finishes quite profitable.
At Talladega, Dave Blaney got $78,230 for finishing dead last and completing only 33 laps. Joe Nemechek got $77,905 for 42nd place, completing only 47 laps.

Start and Park teams play a role in the racing and they generate entry fees.
So probably never.

Those drivers are needed badly, they are operating on limited funds..why should it bother you? YOU could be in the olympics, someone has to finish LAST…

Hopfully never! If the car just runs one lap, that’s a days pay for alot people. As long as the teams has the money to race, let them race.Racing is in their blood.Nobody needs to be standing there with a needle ready to draw it out!
