@bmxbarn15 , one good way to do it is to score with an hobby knife, and flex and pull the? trimed excess, you must make sure you score well tho, but listen to the master jang, he seems to know what hes doing!

I’m about to order a clearn body for my jato. Customize it a bit. My jato needs more than paint though lol. I wrecked it so now I’ve gotta? order extra arms and all that cool stuff. Gotta get another motor aslo and that electric starter for the ez system. All that is tore up

This is the first video I’ve watched from you and as a result I subscribed. Thank you for the insight, demonstration, and extra details throughout this informative and enjoyable tutorial. It’s been close to 20 years since I raced an? RC car, and now that I’ve taken up my interest once again, it’s great to see the community still striving with helpful enthusiasts like yourself.

meatpotato5 February 21, 2012 at 10:43 pm

can you use a blow dryer instead of a heat? gun

UltimateRCnetwork February 21, 2012 at 11:34 pm

@slash4x4lipo That is an enamel paint that is intended only to be used as a backing color (behind fluorescent paints), as indicated on the label. It is not designed to stick to Lexan. I personally don’t even like it as a backing paint because our normal lacquers don’t adhere? to it well if you do other painting afterwards.

slash4x4lipo February 22, 2012 at 12:25 am

can you try the pactra? backing color on the lexan? i go to my hobby shop and they sell me that…. the paint is just crack… it is just not stay on the lexan… can you try or say me why…???

TheFuzzyhartley February 22, 2012 at 12:48 am

if you? wash the body then put on the window masks aren’t you going to get oil from your fingers on the clean body again?

cj5134 February 22, 2012 at 12:51 am

mustangcarter199 February 22, 2012 at 1:50 am

@UltimateRCnetwork
am going to be painting my body white, so should i? back that silver afterwards?

christsaves227 February 22, 2012 at 2:25 am

@UltimateRCnetwork I’m buying a car where the windows and decals and stuff are stickers, so I don’t? have to do the masking, do I? (I just need to color the body white, the rest are stickers)

TheKoolNerd1 February 22, 2012 at 2:54 am

if? you sand the lexan lightly, would paints like Krylon work?
